Beakbane’s decision to exhibit at EMO, the world’s largest machine tool exhibition, has paid dividends as the team returned with a wealth of new contacts and enquiries.

EMO, which is held in in Hanover, Germany, is the main international showcase for machine tools and manufacturing technology, attracting 140,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibitors from around the world.

The event is particularly important for Beakbane as both visitors and exhibitors are potential customers for products such as bellows and machinery protection equipment including telescopic slideway covers, folding concertina covers, lamella covers and bespoke metal fabrications. Indeed, many of the world’s leading machine tool manufacturers, including Yamazaki Mazak and Heller, featured Beakbane products on the equipment they were exhibiting.

Altogether, Beakbane received around 50 enquiries, including from large corporations in Japan and the USA.

Beakbane’s exhibition stand displayed a wide range of samples and the company was the only exhibitor showing larger fabrications and cladding for machine tool applications.
